| Abstract: | I present data on the distribution and biology of the species Spilostethus furcula (Herrich-Schaeffer, 1850) and of the rest of the Iberian Spilostethus species (S. pandurus, S. saxatilis), derived from the photos uploaded to the Invertebrates' Gallery BiodiversidadVirtual.org web. A significant widening of the so far known distribution in the Iberian Peninsula is observed. I include keys to identify the Iberian genera of the subfamily Lygaeinae Schilling, 1829 and the Iberian species of the genus Spilostethus Stål, 1868. |
